Things In The Works
Canons
The Book of Canons is pretty much complete. This has been a difficult and complicated project. Pray that we will have a useful document that will provide needed stucture without hindering the work of the gospel. We are hoping to have a Provisional Book of Canons by the Feast of the Nativity.
Christian Formation
The need for a program of study for: persons seeking ordination; persons who would like to continue their formal education; persons who are seeking chrismation through a process of catecumenate formation; persons who would like to study our catecism; and persons who teach christian formation classes is in the planning stages. This is a most time consuming endeavor, and it takes the coordination of many skilled persons who need much prayer for this to turn out to be helpful and not a hinderance.
Liturgies
The needed liturgies for the Celtic Episcopal Church are complete. They will need to be reviewed to ensure that they are as free from typographical errors, inconsistancy of rubrics; and formatting goofs as possible. This item has been delayed to focus on Convocation, and the cost of doing this project is more than we have in our Service Book Fund. It apprears that we will be continuing to publish our Daily Office Prayerbook as we have already, the Catechism in a similar manner to the foregoing, and reserve the use of a publisher for the Book of Services.
